Zhenyuanlong

jhen-wahn-long

“Zhenyuan’s dragon” is named after the man who acquired the fossil for a museum. Until paleontologists studied Zhenyuanlong, they had not found such long arm feathers on raptor dinosaurs (small meat eaters) that didn’t fly. Zhenyuanlong had short arms compared to the size of its body. It had a fan of feathers on the arm, like a wing.
