Morphing Monster Slime

Try out this craft to create your own morphing monster slime! When the slime fun is done, see the steps below to transform it into clay! To store slime, keep it sealed in jars in the fridge. You can add felt monster features, too!

What You’ll Need
  • bowl
  • school glue
  • baking soda
  • food coloring
  • contact lens solution
  • vinegar
  • vegetable oil
  • cornstarch
What You’ll Do
  1. Make the Slime: In a bowl, mix ½ cup of school glue, 1 tablespoon of baking soda, and several drops of food coloring.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of contact-lens solution.
  3. Stir the mixture.
  4. Transform It into Clay: In a bowl, mix the slime with 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil.
  5. Add 1 ¼ cups of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon at a time.
  6. Use your hands to blend the mixture until it looks and feels like clay.
  7. Build fun shapes. Let them air-dry for 24 hours.
