For the Paint-Palette Smock: Cut along one side of a large paper bag, then cut off the bottom. Fold the paper in half.
To make a hole for your head, cut a half circle through the middle of the crease. Round the edges of the bottom of the smock.
Cut a small hole in the front of the smock. Cut paint splotches and a paintbrush from colored paper. Glue them to the smock, with the brush handle in the hole.
For the Artist’s Beret: Cover the bottom of a small paper plate with felt. Glue one end of a small felt rectangle to the center, as shown.
Punch two holes on opposite edges of the plate. Cut a piece of elastic long enough to fit under your chin. Tie it through the holes.
