The fossil skulls of a few mastodons show strange and deadly injuries. No one knew what killed these animals. Dr. Daniel Fisher solved the mystery: they died in battles with other mastodons. To show how the mastodons had been injured, he created this video using three-dimensional computer models of fighting mastodon skulls.
