What You’ll Need:

• scissors
• cereal box
• marker
• pencil
• construction paper
• glue
• yarn or buttons

How to Make It:

1. Cut out one large panel from an empty cereal box.

2. Draw an outline of an animal’s head and an oval-shaped body on the cardboard. Cut out the animal.

3. Trace around the cardboard animal onto a sheet of construction paper. Cut out the paper animal, and glue it onto the cardboard animal.

4. Add features with markers, cut paper, yarn, or buttons.

5. Cut two parallel slits in the body. Slide your page partner onto a page in a book or magazine to save your place.
