Party Hat

What You’ll Need:

• construction paper
• tape
• pencil or crayon
• scissors
• glue

How to Make It:

1. Fold a 12-inch-by-18-inch piece of construction paper in half. (If you don’t have this size, tape two smaller pieces together.) Tape closed one of the sides that touches the folded side.

2. Draw a curve from the folded side to the corner where the taped side and the open side meet. (See diagram.) Cut the folded paper along the curve.

3. Fold the bottom up an inch to make the brim, if you wish. Decorate the hat with cut-paper designs.
