Fast Felt Flower

What You’ll Need:

• felt
• scissors
• safety pin
• glue
• plastic drinking
  straw

How to Make It:

1. From felt, cut out the following shapes:
   a four-pointed star to make the leaves, a clover shape for the outer petals of the flower, and a dog-bone shape for the center of the flower.

2. Cut a small slit in the center of the leaf and petal pieces as shown. Put the petal piece on top of the leaves so that the slits line up.

3. Fold the bone shape in half so the ends meet. Pull the fold through the slits in the other two pieces.

4. To make a pin, attach a safety pin to the fold behind the flower. To make a long-stemmed flower, glue a plastic drinking straw inside the loop that is made by the fold at the back of the flower.
