Marble-and-Bead Jewelry
What You’ll Need:
- scissors
- ruler
- fabric
- needle and thread
- pencil with eraser
- beads
- marbles
- ribbon
How to Make It:

Cut a 36-inch-by-2 1/2-inch piece of fabric. Fold it in half lengthwise. Sew the long edges together to form a long tube. Use the eraser end of a pencil to push the tube inside out, so the sewn edge is inside.

Push the fabric tube through the hole in a 3/8-inch bead. It will fit tightly around the fabric. Push a marble into the fabric tube until it is next to the bead.

Repeat step 2 until the bracelet or necklace is as long as you wish.

To wear, tie the ends together. Or sew a few inches of ribbon onto each end, then tie the ribbons together.
