Pet Caterpillar

What You’ll Need:

• chenille sticks
• pencil
• glue
• movable plastic eyes (or wiggle eyes)
• fishing line

How to Make It:

1. Coil a chenille stick (or two chenille sticks, side by side) tightly around a pencil.

2. Slide the coiled chenille stick from the pencil. Carefully tuck all of the sharp ends into the coil.

3. Glue two small movable plastic eyes to an end of the chenille stick.

4. Tie one end of a piece of fishing line (1 to 1½ feet long) to the coil close behind the eyes.

5. Tie a loose loop in the other end of the fishing line. Put your finger through the loop and “teach” your pet some commands, such
   as “come,” “stay,” “roll over,” and others.
