How to Make It:

  1. To make the first bubble blower, draw and cut out a flower from a plastic lid. Cut a small X in the center. Snip one end of a plastic straw into four strips, then slide the uncut end of the straw through the X until just the snipped end sticks out through the flower. Staple the strips to the top of the flower. Dip the shape into bubble solution and blow through the uncut end of the straw.

  2. The second bubble blower is made by folding a chenille stick in half, then shaping the folded end as you wish. Twist the other end into a handle. Dip the shape and blow to make bubbles.

  3. The third bubble blower is made by cutting three drinking straws in half, then lining them up two-by-three and gluing them together. Next, tape the straws together securely with waterproof tape. Dip one end in the bubble solution and blow through the other end. Blowing hard will create many small bubbles. Blowing softly will create one big multifaceted bubble.

  4. Make your own bubble solution by mixing one-third cup dishwashing detergent, one cup water, and a dash of light corn syrup. Allow the mixture to settle for ten minutes before using it.
