Bottle-Cap Castanets

What You’ll Need:

• two or four small metal bottle caps or lids
• scissors
• old glove
• glue

How to Make It:

1. For each pair of castanets, clean two small metal bottle caps or lids.

2. With a parent’s permission, cut 2 inches of the fingertip from an old glove and cut off the glove thumb.

3. Put a few drops of glue inside each cap. Put the glove pieces on your thumb and index finger, and press them into the glue in the bottle caps, pressing hard for twenty seconds. Carefully slide your fingers from the glove pieces and let the glue dry completely. Then put your thumb and finger into the glove pieces, and click together the castanets.
