Groundhog Day

What You’ll Need:

• colored pencils or crayons
• paper
• scissors
• glue
• ice-cream stick
• construction paper

How to Make It:

1. Draw and color a groundhog on paper. Cut it out, and glue it onto one end of an ice-cream stick.

2. Fold a piece of construction paper in half. On the fold, cut a slit for the groundhog's hole. Unfold the paper.

3. On one side of the paper, draw a sunny-day scene that shows the groundhog's shadow. On the other side, draw a cloudy-day scene.

4. Make the groundhog pop up on the sunny or the cloudy side.
