Bendable Buddies

What You’ll Need:

• scissors
• construction paper
• pen or marker
• chenille sticks
• glue
• pennies
• paper clips

How to Make It:

1. For each buddy, cut out two hearts, the same size, from construction paper. Draw a face on one.

2. Twist together two chenille sticks in the middle. Bend them to form arms and legs. Glue the hearts together with the chenille-stick “twist” between them.

3. For feet, bend the bottoms of the legs forward.

4. Trim the arms.

5. Cut out four hand shapes, the same size, from construction paper. On the end of each arm, glue two hands together with the chenille-stick end between them.

6. For shoes, cut out four ovals from construction paper. Glue a penny onto two of them. Place the chenille-stick feet on the pennies, then glue the other ovals on top of them. Hold the shoes together with paper clips until the glue dries.
