Triple Valentine Surprise
What You’ll Need:
- paper
- small box
- scissors
- ruler
- thin ribbon
- candy
- pencil or marker
- glue
- tape
How to Make It:

Use paper to decorate a small box.

Cut a 4-foot length of thin ribbon. Tie on a candy every 6 inches.

From paper, make a small heart and a card that will fit in the box. Write “Pull me” on the heart. Decorate the card and add a message.

Glue the card to one end of the candy
rope.
Glue the heart to the other. Let the glue dry. -
Put the card in the box, and place the candy rope on top of it. Roll a piece a tape, and use it to attach the heart to the inside top of the box, as shown at right. Close the box.

When your Valentine opens the box, he or she will pull the heart for a triple surprise: a candy rope, a card, and a pretty box.
