Prize-Winning Valentines

What You’ll Need:

• scissors
• poster board
• glue
• crepe paper
• crayons or markers

How to Make It:

1. Cut out two hearts from poster board.

2. Glue crepe paper around the back edge of one heart, making pleats as you go. You may find it easier to do half the heart, then cut the crepe paper and begin the other half.

3. Cut two tails from crepe paper and glue them to the bottom of the heart.

4. Glue the second heart to the back of the first heart.

5. Decorate the heart, and sign your name on the back.

6. You can also make “prize ribbons” for birthdays and other occasions. Just cut out cardboard circles instead of hearts.
