Draft Catcher
What You’ll Need:
- sand or clean kitty litter
- large plastic garbage bag
- masking tape
- scissors
- tube socks
- craft glue
- sewing materials
- felt
How to Make It:

Put 2 or 3 inches of sand or clean kitty litter in the bottom of a large plastic garbage bag.

Roll the bag up tightly and tape it closed with masking tape.

Cut the toe section or the entire foot section from a few tube socks. Slide the tube sections to the middle of the rolled bag, overlapping them.

Slide an uncut sock on each end of the bag. Use craft glue to hold the socks together, or take the socks off the bag and sew them together. (If you’re sewing, leave a sock off one end so that you can slide the socks back onto the bag. Then sew on the last sock.)

Decorate your draft catcher by gluing on felt features.
