Framed Yarn Art

What You’ll Need:

• glue
• construction paper
• shoebox or stationery box
• pencil
• paint or crayons
• yarn
• scissors

How to Make It:

1. Glue construction paper to the lid of a shoebox or a stationery box.

2. On the inside of the lid, draw a simple picture with a pencil. Paint or color the background.

3. Spread glue onto a section of your picture. Starting at the outside of the section, coil a piece of yarn within that part until it is filled. Trim any extra yarn.

4. Fill in each part of your picture with yarn until the picture is finished. Let the glue dry. Display your art on a shelf.
