What You’ll Need:

  • scissors
  • cardboard box from cereal or crackers
  • ruler
  • glue
  • construction paper
  • 9-inch paper plate
  • crayons
  • napkins

How to Make It:

  1. Cut off the top part of a cardboard box (from crackers or cereal) so that the bottom part is 3 1/2 inches high. Glue construction paper onto the bottom part.

  2. Cut a 9-inch paper plate in half. With crayons, decorate one half to look like a slice of watermelon. Cut a bite out of it.

  3. Glue the paper watermelon slice on the box. Fill the box with napkins.
