What You’ll Need:
- scissors
- ruler
- corrugated cardboard
- thin cardboard
- glue
- craft sticks
- tacky glue
- tape
- paint
- black electrical tape
How to Make It:
Cut two 3-inch squares from corrugated cardboard for the ends of the box.

To make the box front, bottom, and back, cut three 3-inch-by-3½-inch rectangles from thin cardboard. Glue eight craft sticks side by side on each rectangle. Let the glue dry.
Using tacky glue, glue the box together as shown. Prop the sides and ends in place as the glue dries.
To make the lid, cut a 3-inch corrugated-cardboard circle in half.
- Paint the lid and box. When the paint is dry, use black electrical tape to connect the lid and box and as decoration.

Tape thirteen craft sticks side by side using two strips of tape. Lay the sticks in your hand with the tape facing up. Use your hand to curve the taped sticks around the cardboard half circles as shown. Glue the half circles to the sticks with tacky glue. Hold the lid until the glue sets. Then turn it over and set it aside to dry. When the glue is completely dry, remove the tape.
