Animal Spinners

What You’ll Need:

• scissors
• clear plastic lid
• paper
• pencil
• acrylic paint
• white thread or fishing line

How to Make It:

1. Cut out the inner circle from a clear plastic lid.

2. On a piece of paper, draw a design for inside the lid. Lay the inner circle on top of your drawing. With a sharp pencil, press hard as you trace over your design onto the plastic.

3. Carefully cut out your design. Poke a hole in the top to hang it.

4. On the outer rim of the lid, poke two holes—one in the top to hang it up, and one just under the top hole to hang the design.

5. Paint both the design and the outer rim with acrylic paint. When the paint is dry, hang the design from the outer rim using white thread or fishing line.

6. Hang the spinner from the ceiling or windowsill.
