What You’ll Need:
- marker
- 8-inch-square cake pan
- thin dish towels
- smooth scrap fabric
- scissors
- tacky craft glue
- fabric trim or ribbon
- wide rubber bands, if necessary
How to Make It:
-
Use a marker to trace around an 8-inch-square cake pan three times onto old, clean, thin dish towels that an adult has given you permission to use.
-
Trace around the cake pan once onto a piece of smooth scrap fabric.
-
Cut out all four squares.
-
Use tacky craft glue to glue the squares on top of one another with the scrap-fabric square on top.
-
Trim the edges of the mouse pad. Glue fabric trim or ribbon around the edges. Let the glue dry.
-
If your mouse pad slides around when you use it, cut wide rubber bands and glue or tape them on the bottom.
