    Worrying a Lot
I’m always worried that something is going to happen, even though nothing really bad has ever happened to me. What should I do?

Talk to your parents. They might have some helpful ideas. And sometimes it can make us feel better just to talk.

You might also try keeping a journal about the things that worry you—or about everything you think about, including your hopes, dreams, and other good things. When you write about your worries, include all your thoughts, especially any pictures you have in your mind. This may help you see that some of your worries are not realistic.

A journal can also show you if anything in particular seems to start your worrying. Maybe you worry more after watching certain TV shows or after hearing a particular type of music. Then you can avoid those things. And a journal will help you think through any worries that are real and serious.

Best wishes,
