That sounds like a wonderfully creative project. The size of the robot’s head depends on how big the rest of it will be. If the robot is about twelve inches tall, then you might try an empty thread spool. A cap from a detergent bottle might work, too.

If the robot is as big as you are, then you might try a round box, such as the kind that oatmeal comes in. For a square head, try an empty cereal box, or perhaps two boxes glued or taped together.

Perhaps your art teacher at school would have some good suggestions, too.
